East Angus, February 25, 2025. - Eight awards recognizing deserving employees were presented


at the Haut-Saint-François Employee Recognition Gala, held at Polyvalente Louis-Saint-Laurent in East Angus on February 22, 2025. Under the leadership of the organizing committee, the evening ended with a lecture by Patrick Tremblay on the theme of “Humor at Work: A Lever for Performance and Enjoyment.” This event was made possible thanks to the financial support of the Government of Quebec.

The Haut-Saint-François Employee Recognition Gala is an event that boosts the motivation of employees in the region and encourages a sense of belonging to their organization. I join my colleague, Minister of Employment Kateri Champagne Jourdain, in congratulating the employees who have been recognized by their employers for their contributions and commitment," said François Jacques, Member of Parliament for Mégantic and Chair of the Government Caucus.


Thanks to this event, which recognizes employee dedication, innovative ideas,


years of service, or skills, eight businesses and organizations in the Haut-Saint-François (HSF) RCM were able to honor one of their own. The nominees were introduced during the evening with short videos filmed in their workplaces. Then, as a token of recognition, each of the nominees received a commemorative plaque and a certificate from the National Assembly issued by the Member of Parliament for Mégantic, Mr. François Jacques.


These employees, who contribute to the success of the employers they work for, are:

● Monsieur David Levasseur (Créations Jade)

● Monsieur Jean Rousseau (Tred’si)

● Madame Julie Boulanger (Intro-travail du Haut-Saint-François)

● Madame Marie-France Gaudreau (Municipalité de La Patrie)

● Madame Nicole Girard-Tremblay (IGA Cookshire-Eaton – Gestion Gilles Genest)

● Madame Nathalie Martin (Moisson Haut-Saint-François)

● Madame Vanessa Baillargeon (Municipalité d’Ascot Corner)


The organizing committee would like to extend its warmest thanks to the event's financial partners and all the companies present at the gala, as well as those that submitted an application. The committee is made up of representatives from the following organizations: the Carrefour jeunesse-emploi (CJE) du HSF, the Chambre de commerce du HSF, the Comité d’adaptation de la main d’œuvre (CAMO) du HSF, and the Société d’aide au développement de la collectivité (SADC) du HSF.
